Herman McCabe, 51, of Flagstaff, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at the University of Arizona Medical Center in Tucson.
Mr. McCabe was born Feb. 1, 1959, in Keams Canyon to Tommy and Lena McCabe. He had five brothers and three sisters. He received his schooling at the boarding school in Many Farms. He lived in the Phoenix area for many years and moved to Flagstaff about eight years ago.
He enjoyed spending time with his wife, Frances, and their children. He taught them to be God-fearing citizens who were polite and kind, and to have a genuine desire for an education. It was important to him to provide for his family. Mr. McCabe worked for Eagle Mountain Construction and never wanted to miss a day of work. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Mr. McCabe is survived by his wife; and children Aaron, Kelly, Simientia, Nicole, Kenneth and Joseph.
A memorial service for Mr. McCabe will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel, 2401 E. Linda Vista Drive, in Flagstaff.
