Vera Louise
Vera Louise Christian passed away peacefully in her sleep, on January 2, 2004. She was born near Timewell, Illinois in 1936.
She lived near Chicago, Illinois where she and her husband owned and operated Mobile Home Express, a trucking company. The family moved to Mesa in 1971 where she and her husband owned and operated the Redwood Lounge and Redwood Trailer Gardens. For the past twenty years she worked at Consolidated Auto in Phoenix.
She is survived by her four sons Robert Desruisseau, Anthony Desruisseau, Timothy Kenley and Roger Kenley, her daughter-in-law Jamie Kenley, two grandchildren Kerry Mae Kenley and Allison Kenley and her sister Rosalie Meyer. She was known and loved by many and will be missed very much.
A Memorial Service was held on Saturday January 10, 2004 at Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ. A reception immediately followed the memorial service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Pilgrim Lutheran School, 3257 E. University Drive, Mesa, Arizona 85213.
