Ted was happy in Louisiana, where he just had to walk out his back door to get in his boats. In 2007, Ted, his wife, and friends had the adventure he had always dreamed of. They bought a 42-inch houseboat and took it down the Ohio and Mississippi rivers to the Atachafalaya Basin. It was a great adventure and Ted's story was published in Houseboating Magazine. He is survived by his wife, Marybob; son Colt; daughter-in-law Jennifer; grandchildren Lexi and Logan Shelton, all from Carencro, La.; stepmother Martha Eubank; uncle Joe Denham; and many great friends.
