FERBER, William A.


William A. Ferber, life resident of Greenwich, CT, died Monday, January 5, 2004 at the Nathaniel Witherell Convalescent Home. He was born in Greenwich, CT on September 6, 1916. He was the son of the late Philip G. Ferber and Bridget O'Carroll. He died of natural causes according to his family. He was 87 years old. Mr. Ferber is survived by his wife of 65 years, Odette Hill, of Riverside, CT; three daughters, Barbara F. Carnes of Attalla, AL; Marilyn (Lyn) Capone of Southbury, CT; Karen F. Webster of Bethel, CT; and one son, Brian Ferber of Glendale, AZ. He is survived by 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Phillip G. and George Ferber, a grandson Michael A. Capone, and a great-grand daughter, Kristie Badgett. There will be calling hours on Thursday, January 8th at the Bosak Funeral Home, 9 Pulaski Street, Stamford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 9th, at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, 247 Stanwich Road, Greenwich, CT. Father Stephen DeLuca, pastor, will officiate. Internment will be private. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Bosak Funeral Home, 9 Pulaski Street, Stamford. Please make memorial donations in William A.
