HEMPHILL, Yvette Marie (Evey)

(Maiden Name: Becketts)

Ms. Yvette Marie "Evey" Hemphill, age 45 of Phoenix was taken from us suddenly on the morning of January 2, 2004. 

A native of Philadelphia, PA and a Communication Specialist for Qwest, she was a 1977 graduate of North High School. 

Survivors include; her son, Robert Hemphill, Jr., mother; Rosie Stanch, sister, Karen Becketts, three brothers, William, Kenneth and Richard Becketts, step-brother; Andrew Stanch, Sr., step-sisters, Andrelisa Livingston and Andra Blade. A host of cousins, friends and family. 

Services were held on Friday, January 9, from the First Institutional Baptist Church, 1141 E. Jefferson St. Interment at East Resthaven Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Universal Memorial Center.
