The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ November 30, 2010 Elizabeth Ann Byrne, 77, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at her daughter’s residence in Show Low. She was born April 21, 1933, in Mifflintown, Pa. to the late Richard J. and Cardie M. (Snyder) Belton. Elizabeth spent her life trying to help others as a psychologist and mental health professional for the state of Virginia. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie (Tim) Byrne; special family friend Frank Huss; cousins Ken and Aleta Rousseau; Jeanne Roche and friend Ilene Goldschmidt. She was born April 21, 1933, in Mifflintown, Pa. She resided in Washington, DC for 30 years and received her MA in psychology she was a health care professional. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Byrne of Show Low. She is also survived by Tim Fliegel, Frank Huss, Jeanne Roche, Ken and Aleta Rousseau, Lenny and Jama Rattigan, Eileen and Robert Goldschmidt She was preceded in death by Cardie and Richard Belton. Funeral services will be private. The family asks that donations can be made to St. Rita Catholic Church in Show Low.
