BURDEN, Esther J.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, November 29, 2010 Esther J. Burden, age 84, of Kenosha formerly of Prescott, Ariz., passed away on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at United Hospital Systems KMCC. Esther was born on Oct. 2, 1926, in Kenosha to George and Karen (Anderson) Dahl. She attended local area schools and graduated from Bradford high School. Esther was united in marriage to Earl Burden on April 13, 1946, at Grace Lutheran Church. The couple made a home in Kenosha until Earl's retirement when they moved to Prescott, Ariz. They returned back to Kenosha in 2009. Earl preceded her in death on Sept. 3, 2009. Esther enjoyed many things in life including reading and camping, but her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family. She was also preceded in death by, her parents. Esther is survived by, three sons, Ronald Burden of Kenosha, Brad Burden of Kenosha and Richard Burden of Brighton, Mich.; five grandchildren, Christopher, Lindsay, Christa, Ashley and Emily; and five great grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, Carter, Isabelle and Addison. Funeral services for Esther will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home. A visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the time of services.
