NATHAN, Nathalie (Pooky)

Nathalie "Pooky" Nathan, 75, of Phoenix, AZ died Jan. 5, 2004. 

Born in Chicago, IL on Oct. 8, 1928, she moved to Arizona 12 years ago from Chicago. 

She was the former President of the Women's Auxiliary Jewish Children's Bureau, a volunteer at Francis Parker School, a devoted volunteer at Lincoln Park Zoo's Nursery, and a devoted mother and observer of all her children's sporting events. 

She is survived by her sons, Thomas J., James T. "Nate" and Robert H.; sisters, Pearl "Merv" Retchin and Pat Schwartz; and 6 grandchildren. 

Private services will be held. Contributions to Lincoln Park Zoological Society, Kevin Bell, Director, 2200 N. Cannon Dr., Chicago, IL 60614. Arrangements by Messinger Indian School Mortuary.
