VEATCH, Duane K. (Bud)

Duane K. "Bud" Veatch,67, formerly of 10593 E. Gold Dust Circle died at 1:40 a.m. January 1st, 2004 in Scottsdale, AZ. He was born on November 11, 1936 in Bloomfield, Iowa to Russell L. Veatch and Elma S. Livingston Veatch. He was raised in Ottumwa, Iowa. He set national sales records for vacuum cleaner and fire alarm sales. He owned and operated Terrace Hill Interiors, and Indian Hills Realty in Ottumwa, before moving to Scottsdale in 1984 and owned and operated Valley Homefinders Inc., in Scottsdale. His marriage to Sandra Lee Veatch took place on January 10, 1955. She survives. Also surviving are three sons, Kevin of Ottumwa, Kyle of Scottsdale, and Kris of Scottsdale, two sisters Mrs. JoAnn Stansill of Bend, OR, Mrs. Evelyn George of Scottsdale, and three grandchildren in Scottsdale. Preceding him in death were his parents, and his brother David. There will be a memorial service at Scottsdale Ranch Community Center this Saturday. Location is 10585 N. 100th Street Scottsdale, AZ.
