ROST, James Dieter

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ October 13, 2008 James Dieter Rost, 74, of Snowflake passed from this life Oct. 7, 2008, in Lakeside. James was born Nov. 30, 1933, in Berlin, Germany, to Joachim Walter and Alice Reichard Rost. Mr. Rost was a man of varied talents which he used to earn a living. Over the years he worked as a civil engineer, arts, antiques and refinishing of furniture, upholsterer, auditor, construction, bartending, disc jockey and lumberjack. He came to Arizona in 1962 and resided in Snowflake. He is survived by relatives in Europe. Arrangements were handled by Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor.
