SIKES, Agnes

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ October 13, 2008 Agnes Sikes, 88, of Show Low, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at RTA Hospice and Palliative Care in Lakeside. She was surrounded by her loving family. Agnes was born Dec. 29, 1919, in Cimarron, Kan., to Abraham and Matilda Koehn. She is survived by her five sisters, Evelyn Dirks, Elsie Troyer, Margie Rokes and Doris May, all of California, and Elizabeth Amerson of Show Low. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Sikes; two sisters, Anna Allen and Julia Jantzen; two brothers, Forrest Koehn and Henry Koehn. Private family services will be held. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
