PAYTON, JR., Shea Wayne (Monster)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ October 13, 2008 Shea Wayne "Monster" Payton Jr., 5, died Oct. 8, 2008, at Phoenix Children Hospital. He was born in Claypool and lived in Miami. He was an Arizona native and attended kindergarten at Las Lomas school. He loved to ride his ATV, enjoyed being the Lion King and liked to color, draw and play with his dog and dinosaurs. He liked being in school with his friends and watching movies and he never complained when he was sick. Shea was happy and always smiling. He is survived by guardians Sandi and Wayne Paton of Globe; great-grandmothers Delena Constant of Show Low and Pat Payton of Kearney; great-grandfather Bud Constant of Pinetop; brother Shadow Payton of Claypool. He is also survived by Shea W. Payton Sr. and Cole Payton and numerous aunts, an uncle and cousins. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Oct. 18, at noon at Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens in Miami.
