WOOD, Ladell Jackson (LJ)

Ladell Jackson "LJ" Wood, 84, entered into rest on January 9, 2004. 

Ladell is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary E. "Betty" Wood, his three children, Karen Grace (Palmer) Brisendine, Leslie James (Marie) Wood, and Walter Mark (Maryanna) Wood; 6 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. 

Ladell proudly served his country in the US Army and was a WWII Veteran. He was a long time member of St. Louis the King Catholic Church. Ladell will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

Visitation was held on Friday, Jan. 16, 2004 at St. Louis the King Catholic Church, 4331 W. Maryland Ave., Glendale. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Louis the King Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Avondale, AZ. Arrangements entrusted to Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary.
