Margaret Winifred Weinhold passed away Nov. 25, 2010, in Lake Havasu City at the age of 85. She was born in Los Angeles on Oct. 6, 1925.
“Winnie”, as she was known to her family and friends, was raised and went to school in Dodson, La. At the age of 17, she moved to Los Angeles to raise her two children, Linda and Robert. After several years, she retired from Lever Bros Co.
Winnie was a member of the Elkette’s, Elks, and Western Welcome Club of Arizona, Lake Havasu City Chapters. She had undergone major heart surgery in 2001 and had suffered from both kidney failure and diabetes. She was dedicated to all her family and blessed with family and friends that loved her dearly and will miss her always.
Winnie leaves behind her beloved family; son, Robert Weinhold of Reno, Nev.; grandchildren, Jennifer and Jason Bernard, Cassie and Brian Weinhold, David and Jackie Ciulla, all of Southern California; great grandchildren, Ryan and Megan Weinhold, Ava and Lincoln Bernard, Olivia and Dean Ciulla; son-in-law, Jim Ciulla of Southern California; nieces, nephews, and other family, Mike and Gayle Barbata, Joanne Barbata, Mickey and Gary Showalter, Dale and Jean Weinhold, Pat and Barbara Harris of Southern California and Arizona.
A visitation will take place on Friday at 10 a.m. at Brea Baptist Church, 217 E. Birch St., Brea, CA followed by the funeral services at 11 a.m. Pastor David Rader will offer words of comfort and inspiration. Interment will follow the services at Loma Vista Memorial Park, 701 E. Bastanchury Rd., Fullerton, CA.
