HINES, Lloyd B. (George)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, December 01, 2010 Lloyd B. (George) Hines, 64, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25, 2010, at his home in Tucson, Ariz., while celebrating with his family and friends. George moved to Prescott in 1963 and graduated from Prescott High School in 1965. He enlisted in the U.S. Army shortly after graduation and served his country during the Vietnam War. After his discharge from the Army in 1970, George went into the automobile business, where he served in just about every capacity in Arizona and Northern California until his untimely death. He is survived by his wife of two years, Stephie Greggory Hines; daughter JamieLynn (Tim); grandson Johnny; son Casey (Susan) and grandsons Carson and Ethan. In the words of George's children: "Thanksgiving Day, the world became a little less funny, a little less interesting, a little less colorful. You were a great dad, a great grandfather and more recently you became a great friend. Dad, we love you, we will miss you and we will never forget you." May our good friend rest in peace.
