FOX, Don

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ December 3, 2010 Don Fox, 86, of Willcox died Nov. 26, 2010, in Tucson. He was born Feb. 1, 1924, in Lake Crystal, Minn. to Benjamin and Amanda Petersen Fox. Don served in the US Navy during WW II. He was a retired Postal Clerk. Don lived in Show Low/Pinetop area for many years and moved to Willcox in 2001 from Tucson. He loved to travel with his wife, Gaynelle whom he married on Oct. 18, 1947 in Phoenix. Don was a member of the Willcox United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Gaynelle; daughters: Anne ( John) Holcomb of Willcox and Kathy Minders of Flower Mountain, Texas; grandchildren: Matt Holcomb and Mandy (David) Kirkendall both of Willcox and Dallas Shaheen and Sarah Minders both of Flower Mountain, Texas; and great-grandchild Kaleb Kirkendall. He was preceded him in death by his parents, brother Bob and great-grandchild Zane. Memorial services were held Nov. 30, at the Willcox United Methodist Church. Services were handled by Westlawn Chapel, Mortuary and Crematory of Willcox.
