MATHURIN, Richard Joseph Lionel

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Friday, December 03, 2010 Richard Joseph Lionel Mathurin, 73, formerly of Flagstaff, died Oct. 29, 2010, in Bullhead City. He was born in June 1936, in Central Falls, R.I. He served as a first sargeant in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1974. He lived in Flagstaff from 1974 to 1995. Mr. Mathurin is survived by his wife, Mary Ann "Mike" Mathurin; sons Douglas (Susan) of Fredrick, Md., and David of Flagstaff; sister Lorraine Mathurin; brother Paul Mathurin; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertha and Joseph Mathurin; sons Gary and John Mathurin; and daughter Gayle Mathurin Adame. A service will be at a later date. Diamond & Sons Funeral Home of Bullhead City is handling arrangements.
