Quincy (IL) Herald-Whig Friday, December 3, 2010 E. Marguerite Hollander, 85, of Sunset Home, died at 4:15am Monday (Nov 29, 2010) in Sunset Home. Born May 26, 1925, in Quincy, Marguerite was the daughter of James Frank and Nellie Gray Anderson. She married Robert L Hollander Sr on March 28, 1945, in Quincy. He died March 17, 1999. Marguerite was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling, volunteering, walking and loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. A 1942 graduate of Quincy High School, Mrs Hollander was employed as a sales clerk for various Quincy businesses. She later worked for the Bartholomew County School District in Columbus, Ind. Survivors include two sons, Robert L Hollander Jr of Milton, Wis., and Roger Hollander of LaPlata, Md; a daughter-in-law, Evelyn Hollander of Quincy; five grandchildren, Ross Hollander and his wife, Angela, of Snellville, Ga., Carrie Klitz and her husband, Josh, of Quincy, Reid Hollander and his wife, Brenda, of Olathe, Kans., Rachel St Clair and her husband, Joe, of Quincy and Justine Hollander and her husband, Jeffery Dischler, of Middleton, Wis; seven great-grandchildren, Daniel Hollander, Megan Hollander, Jack Klitz, Dax Klitz, Carson Klitz, Ramsey Hollander, and Ellie St Clair; a brother, Carl Anderson and his wife, Jo, of Urbana, Ohio; two sisters, Eileen Dial and her husband, Leon, of Black Canyon, Ariz., and Margie Halterman of Encinitas, Calif; a sister-in-law, Rachel Anderson of Harrisburg, Pa.; and many loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hollander was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Randy Hollander; a grandson, Ryan Hollander; two brothers, Eldon Anderson in infancy and Milton Anderson; and a sister, Norma Jean Anderson. Services: Cremation rites have been accorded to Mrs Hollander. Graveside memorial services will be held at 11am Friday in Calvary Cemetery by the Rev Steve Disseler. Visitation: There will be no visitation, but friends are invited to attend the graveside services.
