Rollie H. Canfield

Roland "Rollie" Canfield was born February 6, 1925 in Los Angeles, California to Henry Canfield and Mabel Leazer Canfield. He was raised in Los Angeles and graduated from Manual Arts High School in 1942. During his youth Rollie was active in Boys Scouting and attained the rank of Eagle Scout.
Rollie later enlisted in the U.S. Navy serving until 1945. Following his military service he returned to California and began working for Pacific Bell Telephone.
Rollie married Mary Jane Schmitz and they later transferred to Minnesota in 1949 and began working for Northwest Bell where he worked until retiring after 34 years of service. During that time he was an active member of the Masonic Lodge in Minneapolis. They later moved to Siren, Wisconsin in 1979.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane in 2003. Rollie began wintering in Wickenburg, Az. in 2004 he met and married Lois Heffner in 2007 and she preceded him in death in 2009.
He was also preceded in death by son Steven R. Canfield in 2009, Brothers, Roy Canfield and Cory Canfield and sisters, Jeanette Beckam, Dorothy McIntyre and Evelyn Baker. Rollie is survived by sons, Scott B. Canfield (Cheryl) of Blaine, MN. and Monte R. Canfield (Vicki) of Center City, MN. Grandchildren: Ian and Alica Canfield and Amanda & Stephanie Canfield with 2 great-grandchildren, Grace Canfield and Olivia Del Maine.
Family service will be held at a later date in Wisconsin.
