The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, December 04, 2010 Joyce Denslow, 79, of Dewey, Ariz., born Aug. 7, 1931, in Imperial, Neb., died Dec. 3, 2010, in Prescott, Ariz. A celebration of life will be Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010. Those wishing to attend may contact the family. Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with arrangements. ~~~~~~~~~ The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, December 08, 2010 Joyce (Jo) Denslow passed away on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, surrounded by her loving family, after a short battle with cancer. Jo is survived by her four daughters, Deb Stanford (Jim), Lynn Cole (Ron), Tannie Callesen (Barry) and Joni Preston (Joe); sister Val Wallace (Ron); the father of her daughters and much-loved friend Gene Oliver Lt. Col. USAF (Ret.) (Peggy); 11 grandchildren, Cash, Jaime, Coleman, Melesa, Joel, Tiana, Desi, Airlia, Tony, Dustin and Karli; and six great-granddaughters, Alicia, Charlee, Teja, Rowan, Taelyn and Jema. Jo is also survived by her loving companion Jim O'Conner and his daughters, Terri and Gale, and his granddaughter Kylie. She will now be reunited with her two sisters, June and Shirley, and her beloved husband Ted Denslow. Jo was the incredible matriarch of our family and her passing will leave a space in our hearts that can never be filled. She enjoyed spending time with her family, loving her dogs, Riley and Spunky, traveling the world and singing. She was an amazing artisan and loved sharing her creations with family and friends. There will be a celebration of her life for family and close friends on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010.
