RASURE, Joy Louise

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ September 8, 2008 Joy Louise Rasure of Angels Camp, Calif., formerly of Eagar, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at Mark Twain Convalescent Hospital in San Andreas. She was 73. She was born March 9, 1935, in Muskogee, Okla. Mrs. Rasure lived life to its fullest. She was a former flight attendant and worked as a professional model. She married Duane Rasure and raised a family of four daughters. Mrs. Rasure is survived by her loving husband, Duane; daughters Marnie Uhl of Prescott Valley, Sandra Ceci of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Brenda Honey of Vancouver, Wash., and Kelly Devenport of Sparks, Nev.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by sister Inez Wilson and brother Jack Toney. Services were held Saturday, Sept. 6, at Angels Memorial Chapel. Burial was held at Altaville Protestant Cemetery.
