The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ September 11, 2008 Kenneth James Rios, 27, loving son, father and brother. "Kenneth left us way too soon." He was very close to his parents, especially his mom. They weren't just mother and son they were good friends. He loved his music and his video games. Kenneth adored his 3-year-old daughter, Kadie, and his fiancé, Danielle, as well as his little brother, Tony. Kenny was a miracle child, being born without an immune system. He was not expected to live, but he beat all the odds. Ken was a plumber and worked for Hulbert Plumbing in Show Low. He loved to talk with his dad of past memories, hard times and just the good old times, saying, "Look how far we've come, Dad, don't you think?" Kenneth leaves behind his daughter, Kadie; fiancé Danielle; parents Jason Weems and Rene Shaver; six siblings, Gilbert, Eric, Paul, Alexander, Leah and Tony. Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Owens Livingston Mortuary, White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
