Isaac "Cubby" Lopez, 63, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003.
He was born March 9, 1940, in Winslow. He was married to Charlotte Montoya on June 5, 1959.
He worked for a short time as a janitor for St. Joseph's Catholic School in Winslow. While in Winslow, he also worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for 15 years. In 1972 he moved his family to Williams, where he retired from the city of Williams Water Department.
His life joys were dancing, Mexican music, yard work and helping out around the house. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Lopez is survived by his wife of 44 years, Charlotte Lopez of Williams; children Edward Lopez and Mary Frances Lopes-Barrios, both of Williams; brother Guadalupe Lopez of Winslow; sisters Anselma Lopez of Denver and Lupita Andrade of Gallup, N.M.; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Erne Lopez, in September 1994.
Rosary will be 7 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Chapel. Interment will follow in Williams Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Norvel Owens Mortuary.
