ANTONSEN, Verdant Elizabeth

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Sunday, December 05, 2010 Verdant Elizabeth Warren Antonsen, 94, of Flagstaff, died Nov. 29, 2010. She was born Feb. 15, 1916, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Arthur and Josephine Zinger Warren. Mrs. Antonsen was raised in North Dakota. She moved to Pasadena, Calif., where she lived from the 1950s to the early 1990s. She then moved to Gulf Shore, Ala., where she was until just before Hurricane Katrina, when she moved to Flagstaff to be near her son, Warren. She enjoyed poetry and working with Lane Russell and Elaine LaLanne with the WAIF Organization, but most of all she was a good mom. Mrs. Antonsen is survived by her son, Warren Antonsen of Flagstaff; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Dale Antonsen; and her brothers, Kenneth and Howard Warren. No services will be held at this time.
