COSEN, Regina

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ July 21, 2008 Regina Cosen went home to be with the Lord July 16, 2008, at the Banner Garden Hospic Home in Mesa. She was born March 26, 1941, in Cedar Creek. Regina's family mother, Mary G. Altaha; close family friend Anthony E. Cusma; husband Andrew Cosen; sons, Richard Cosen, Robert Cosen; daughters, Bernadine Johnson, Ann Cosen, Joycelyn Rustin, Kamilla Ethelbah; goddaughter Andrena P. Lovitt; brothers: Thomas Altaha Jr., Ralph Massey; sisters, Laverne Altaha, Delphine Altaha, Helena Altaha, Gertrude Taylor, Patsy Massey; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Altaha (WWII 1945 KIA); daughter Rowena Cosen; brothers Harold Patterson, Logan Massey, Raymond Massey, and Minor Massey. A two-night wake will be held at her residence (4501 S. 9th St,) in Canyon Day starting Monday, July 21, at 10 a.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 23, at 10 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Cedar Creek with Pastor Martinez officiating. Interment will be at R-14 Crossing Cemetery in Cedar Creek. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
