The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ July 24, 2008 Emilita June Kessay of McNary went home to be with the Lord July 17, 2008, in McNary. She was born March 27, 1991, in Phoenix. Emilita is survived by her parents, Jasper Kessay Sr. and Arlinda Kessay; sister Joyce Kessay; brothers, Thomas Kessay, Jasper Kessay Jr., Fredrick Kessay; uncles Robert Zahgotah, Nathan Zahgotah; aunts, Carolina Hill, Carrie Ann Kessay, Lilly Curley; grandfathers Rapheal Zahgotah, Curtis Ethelbah, Billy Truax, Stacy Alchesay, Spencer Alchesay; grandmothers Bernice Truax, Emma June Truax, Edith Bourke, Beatrice Zahgotah; and many relatives and friends. A two night wake started Thursday, July 24, at 10 a.m. at her parent's residence (No. 402 Whispering Pine Lane) in McNary. A home service will be held Saturday, July 26, at 1 p.m. at the family residence in McNary, with Pastor Jack Townsend officiating. Interment will be at Ponderosa Pine Cemetery in McNary. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
