FERENCHICK, Stephen

Stephen Ferenchick, 81, of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away January 6, 2004. He was born on April 18, 1922 in Coalcastle, Pennsylvania. He was a veteran of World War II and served under General Patton. He spent 31 years working at General Motors in Detroit, Michigan. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Josephine; daughter, Marilyn Black (Timothy) of Paradise Valley, Ariz.; son, Dr. Gary Ferenchick of Lansing, Michigan and daughter, Michele Ferenchick (Craig Sharp) of Grand Rapids, Michigan; grandchildren: Stephen, Carolyne, Warren, Hannah, Jesse, Madeleine and Jacob. A Memorial to celebrate his life was held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 11001 N. 40th St., Phoenix, AZ on Friday, Jan. 9th, 2004. Interment at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
