FLOURNOY, Bernard Anthony

Bernard Anthony Flournoy, 68, of Phoenix, passed away January 11, 2004. The son of Zeffie Crear & Calvin Flournoy, born December 4, 1935 in Frankston, TX. He served in the U.S. Army. He had a great love for music and his Saxophone. He was employed by Pitney-Bowes until retiring after 13 years. He then worked for Avis Car rental after returning to Arizona. Bernard is survived by his Wife Shirley, Daughters Chandra and Karen, Sons Robert, Larry, and Usher III, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sisters Betty & Ernestine, and many cousins and friends. Services were January 17, 2004, Advantage Colonial Chapel, with visitation one hour prior. Arrangements entrusted to Advantage Colonial Chapel. Published in the Arizona Republic on 1/16/2004.
