Robert C. Edwards, 86, of Show Low, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010, at Bannon Springs in Vernon. He was born January 28, 1924, in Mason City, IA, to Arthur and Mabel (Admintrout) Edwards.
He was raised and attended school in San Diego, CA. He was a US Navy Veteran of World War II, serving in the submarine division. He moved to Los Angeles after his service, where he worked for AT&T for 40 years. He retired to Show Low 28 years ago, and was a founder of the Show Low Senior Patrol.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Dolores; a stepson, Derek Moran and wife Wendy and a stepdaughter, Jane Cary and husband Richard, all of California. He was preceded in death by his parents and a twin brother, Lyle.
