Etta Mae Augenstein, 71, formerly of Williams, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010, at her home in Yuma.
She was born Dec. 25, 1938, in Prescott, to Frank and Ruby Proctor.
She was the current owner of Mayberry's Sanitation. During her lifetime, she owned several businesses -- including Laundromats and a shuttle service. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved being involved at her church, especially singing "Jesus Loves Me" to the babies. Many people knew her as "Grandma Etta," especially the students she volunteered for in the library at Yuma Lutheran School.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna (Pat) George and Julie (Tim) Mitchell; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her sister, Oweita (Derward) Calvert of Cheyenne, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sons.
A memorial service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Faith Horizon Baptist Church, 8519 E. 24th St., in Yuma. Burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Williams Cemetery.
