HOLLIS, Eva (Marie)

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, December 08, 2010 Eva “Marie” Hollis, age 85, passed away on Dec. 2, 2010. Marie was born on March 2, 1925 in Convoy, Ohio to Clark and Jennie Hollenbeck. Marie and her husband Frank moved to Globe in 1951 to purchase the two existing theaters; the Alden and the Globe, from Fox Vista. Marie was a housewife and helped Frank in the operation of the theaters. Frank and Marie were founding members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where Marie was involved in many activities and functions. Marie is survived by her son, Robert (Susie) Hollis of Globe; daughter, Diana (Craig) Jones of Globe, and daughter, Pamela (Gino) Ginocchio of Raleigh, N.C., and two wonderful grandchildren, Brian Lattner and Sophia Hollis. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Country Club Manor (Paxton Street) in Miami. Interment will immediately follow at Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens, Highway 60, in Miami.
