SPAICH, Bessie K.

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, December 08, 2010 Bessie K. Spaich passed away on Nov. 27, 2010. She was born on March 2, 1918 and was raised in Miami, Ariz. She lived her entire life in the same house in Davis Canyon. After attending and graduating Inspiration Elementary in 1932 and Miami High School in 1936, she worked for Citizens Utilities and Inspiration Consolidated Copper for many years Bessie was preceded in death by her parents, Nick Kovich and Bessie Spaich, as well as sisters Kate and Angie, and brothers Sam and Roscoe. She is survived by a half-sister, nieces, grand-nieces and grand-nephews in the Phoenix/Tempe area; a niece and a grand-niece and nephew in Texas; and two nephews in California. Services were held on Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, at Miles Funeral Services Miami Chapel, 309 W. Live Oak Street, in Miami, Ariz., with burial services immediately following at the Serbian Cemetery in Central Heights. Bessie will be buried alongside both of her parents and her brother Roscoe. In lieu of flowers, Bessie has requested that donations be made to the Globe-Miami Serbian Cemetery Association, 1525 E. Birch Street, Globe, Arizona 85501. Funeral arrangements for Bessie K. Spaich were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Globe.
