BARRINGER, Martha Jane

Martha Jane Barringer, 83, passed away April 13, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on August 19, 1922 in Galloway, OH. to Carson and Edith Ball. Martha married Lawrence Barringer on December 23, 1943. They moved to California in 1944 where their son Dennis was born. Martha loved her job as a stay-at-home mom. Following Lawrence’s retirement, they moved to Lake Havasu City in 1986 to be near their son Dennis, wife Marcia and grandsons, Damon and Jeff. Martha loved the summers in Lake Havasu City; it could never get too hot for her. She also had a passion for watching sports on TV. Grandma Martha was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her husband Lawrence; son, Dennis (Marcia) Barringer, all of Lake Havasu City; grandsons, Damon (Karen) and Jeff; nephew, David (Joyce) Reinhard; niece, Miriam (Dick) Oldenberg; grand niece, Felicia (Jim) McCaughey; grand nephews, Brian Reinhard, Todd (Cate) Abernathy, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Edith Holberg and twin Margaret Newby and nephew Paul Reinhard. There will be a private service held to celebrate her memory.
