Gene Paul King, 70, of Dolores, Colo., and Snowflake died Aug. 2, 2008, at his Dolores, Colo., home. He was born Jan. 12, 1938, in Walla Walla, Wash., the son of Charles Edgar King Jr. and Marjorie Dora (Jones) King Jan. 12, 1938, in Walla Walla, Wash. Gene proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving Gene are his children, Candy L. Stutzman of Dolores, Colo., Ivy O'Bryan of Phoenix, Gene P. King Jr. of Everett, Wash., David Ledford of Washington, Everett "Chuck" King of California, Shelley King and Dennis King, both of Washington; 12 grandchildren; and two brothers, Leroy King of Snohomish, Wash., and Alvin King of Walla Walla, Wash.
