HENDERSON, Frank Walter

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ August 11, 2008 Frank Walter Henderson of Concho Valley died July 16, 2008, due to a vehicular accident. Frank was born March 25, 1929, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Walter S. and Elsie M. Henderson. He is survived by an extensive family, including his wife of 59-plus years, Natha M. Henderson; their children, Frank and Eileen Henderson of McKenna, Wash., Walter Henderson of Kentucky, Cherry and Leo Robichaud of Wasilla, Alaska, Shawna Whitsett of Anchorage, Alaska, Richard and Coni Henderson of Wasilla, Alaska, and Cass and Lorett Finfrock of Phoenix (whom Frank often referred to as a son); 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; a host of nieces and nephews; all whom shall miss his wise council, sense of humor, fairness in dealing with all people and most of all the strength of his love for family and friends. He was a man of great humor, a man who was unafraid to reach out a helping hand to others in need, a man who could be stern but never unfair, who lived life well, a dreamer, a doer, someone who you could look up to with respect and love. Services will be held off until the time his wife, Natha, is released from the Scottsdale hospital where she is recovering.
