MORRIS, JR., Robert M. (Tink)


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ August 11, 2008 Robert M. "Tink" Morris Jr. died July 29, 2008, in Queen Creek. He was born Sept. 10, 1926, in Moncks Corner, S.C. Tink spent his summers in Pinedale. He was in the Army in World War II. He worked as a highway inspector for Maricopa County. He raised homing pigeons for 60 years, was active in the LDS church and loved spending time with family. He was known all over for his stories. He is survived by his wife, LaReece; sons Lonnie Morris, Randy Morris and Jay Morris; daughters Shanna Fuller and Cinda Rohan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert M. Morris Sr. and Marie Pauline Wyndham, and his brother, Olin D. Morris. Funeral arrangements were held at Val Vista Stake Center in Gilbert. Bunkers of Mesa handled arrangements.
