GARZON, Joseph Henry

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ August 14, 2008 Joseph Henry Garzon, 73, of Pinetop died tragically Aug. 8, 2008, from injuries he sustained as a result of a single-car rollover accident in Whiteriver. Joseph was born in Puerto Rico to the late Jose and Marta Garzon. As a young man he served in the U.S Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a decorated war hero for the sacrifices he made while in the service of his country. He moved to Arizona from California about 20 years ago. He and his wife, Linda, were just in the process of buying a new home at the time of his passing. Joseph is survived by the love of his life, Linda L. Garzon. Graveside services will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix at 1 p.m.. Monday, Aug. 18. He will receive military honors at that occasion.
