Walter John Skeldon, 98, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, in Forest Lakes. He was born July 14, 1910, in Cornville, Ill., to the late Walter John and Agnes Hailstone Skeldon.

Walter is survived by his daughter, Nancy Steller; two grandchildren, Larry and Lisa Steller; and one nephew, John (Debbie) Skeldon.
 
Memorial services will be held Friday, Aug. 22, at 10 a.m. at Owens Mortuary White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th St., in Show Low.
