JOSAY, Jessica Marie (Jess) (J-Rock)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ August 18, 2008 Jessica Marie Josay, also known as Jess and J-Rock, 18, entered eternal rest Aug. 11, 2008, in Whiteriver. Jess was born Sept. 28, 1989, in Show Low, to Eugene Josay and Tina Cruz. Jessica was a very intelligent young woman. She excelled in academics and received many awards in science and reading. She was able to brighten any room with her beautiful smile, sense of humor and the sound of her laughter. She was very lovable and a joy to have around. Jessica enjoyed drawing, listening to music, playing video games, spending time on the Internet, reading Harry Potter books and spending time with her baby brother and many friends. She is survived by her son, Owen Tyler Josay; mother Tina Cruz; father Eugene Josay; sisters Marcilla Cruz and Saneice Joy Josay; and brother Aden Matthew Thompson. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Cruz, in June 2008. A two-night wake will be held at Gloria Williams' residence, 311 W. Horseshoe Dr., in Whiteriver Tuesday, Aug. 19, at 10 a.m. A home service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21. Interment will follow in the Dove Street Cemetery in East Fork.
