Reuben Nakya Goseyun, 24, of Whiteriver went home to be with the Lord Aug. 19, 2008. Reuben was born in Whiteriver April 3, 1984, to Norbert Jr. and Cheryl Goseyun.
During his life he lived in Whiteriver and Mesa. On June 11, 2005, he married his dear wife, Tina Louise Valadez. They have two children, son Nakaya and daughter Kailya. He was a member of The Potter's House Church.
Reuben had several interests including rapping, tattoos, fishing, drawing and car shows.
He is survived by his wife Tina; two children, Nakya and Kailya of Whiteriver; his parents, Norbert Jr. and Cheryl Goseyun of Whiteriver; two brothers, Darren Burnett of Phoenix and Quentin Goseyun of Whiteriver; sister Ivy L. Goseyun of Whiteriver; grandmothers Vivian Burnette of Cedar Creek and Sarena Pina of Cibecue; and grandfather Norbert Goseyun Sr. of Bylas.
He was preceded in death by his other grandfather, Avery Burnette of Whiteriver.
The family will have a one- day wake Saturday, Aug. 23, at his home at Cradle Board No. 48. His funeral will be held Sunday, Aug. 24, at the North Fork Miracle Church with the Rev. Ronald Burnette and Pastor Alvin Martinez officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Creek Mourning Dove Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor and Whiteriver.
