COOLEY, Martha

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ December 10, 2010 Martha Cooley went home to be with the Lord Dec. 1, 2010, in Show Low. She was born June 26, 1922, in Cibecue. Martha is survived by her daughters: Francine Lewis, Georgie Caddo, Cecelia Lewis; son Ramsey Cooley Sr.; stepdaughter Sybil Beatty; daughter-in-law Christa Cooley; sons-in-law: Glendale Caddo, Danny Lewis Sr.; 26 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Martha was preceded in death by her husband Willie Cooley Sr.; son Willie Cooley Jr.; and grandchildren: Nia, Cheryl and Baby Cooley. Martha's body will be brought back to Cecelia Lewis's residence (Mile Post 13) in Cibecue for a two night awake starting at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9. A home service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at the family residence in Cibecue with Pastor Gary Lupe officiating. Interment will be at the Z-5 Cemetery in Cibecue. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
