CARPENTER, Eska Elizabeth

Eska Elizabeth Carpenter, 84, died peacefully surrounded by her family, June 19, 2008, in Vernon. She was born July 5, 1923, in Spencer, W.Va., to the late Ralph and Gertrude (Marks) Carpenter. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by daughter, Karen Ann Taylor; three sons, Teddy Eugene Jones, David Franklin Jones and William Rex Jones; stepdaughter Linda Kay Reeves; and numerous grandchildren.

Private services will be held.
