POST, Burnetta Elaine

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ July 17, 2008 Burnetta Elaine Post, 68, died peacefully July 12, 2008, in Show Low. She was born April 4, 1940, in Flagstaff to the late Joseph and Bernetta (Huff) Liles. Elaine was a registered nurse for many years and her passion was working with children in pediatrics. She loved to fish especially catching trout. She lived for her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Bill (Debbie) Post of Queen Creek; daughter Leanne (Wade) Martin of Flagstaff; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Liles of Utah and Joe Liles of Payson; as well as many aunts, uncles and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Post, in 2006 and two grandsons. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 18, at "The Cabin," 2869 Deer Trail, in Overgaard.
