Peggy Gloria Daughn Groves, 85, passed away Dec. 4, 2010, in Lake Havasu City. She was born Feb. 4, 1925, in Long Beach, Calif., to Bernard and Kris Burke.
Peggy married her husband, Herb (Pop), May 8, 1976, in Anaheim, Calif. Together they moved to Lake Havasu City 15 years ago, coming from Santa Ana, Calif. Peggy will forever be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will always be in the hearts of those that knew and loved her. Love and gratitude is given to Bob and Darla, and Lucy Ehman for their love and support as well as Lisa Liska with New Hope Hospice who showed her tender care to Peggy.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 34 years, Herbert (Pop) Groves, of Lake Havasu City; son, Greg Hughs; daughters, Linda Each and Bernie Trejo; brother, “Uncle” Fred Burke; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack; and sister, Maryann.
A celebration of her life will take place at a future date.
