Annie Rayburn, of Fountain Hills Arizona, passed away on Monday, March 20th, 2001, at the home of her parents in Cottonwood, Arizona. She was born in Long Island, New York on October 25, 1947.
She attended high school in Glendale, and attended the University of Iowa. During her life, she lived in Alaska, where she worked on the Alaska Pipeline. Most recently, she had been self-employed as a massage therapist.
Annie is survived by her son: Eric Rayburn of Tennessee; her parents: Louis and Domenica Chavez of Cottonwood; two brothers: Tim Chavez of Cottonwood, and Val Chavez of Ilwaco, Washington; two sisters: Mary Brimhall of Sholoh; Michelle Cutting of Anchorage, Alaska; several nieces and nephews; and her dog and constant companion Pancho. Annie was preceded in death by a brother, Michael.
A visitation was held on Saturday, March 24, 2001 at the Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Avenue, Cottonwood, AZ. Funeral services at 6:00 p.m.
