FRALEY, Ruth Leone


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ June 9, 2008 Ruth Leone Fraley died June 5. She was born April 20, 1925, in Wausau, Wis., and grew up in Mansfield, Ohio. She graduated from high school in Mansfield. She attended Nyack Bible College in New York. She Married Robert D. Fraley June 4, 1949, in Butler, Ohio. They lived in Ohio until 1958 and moved to Southern California and lived there until moving to Arizona in 1969. She lived in Holbrook for eight years and then moved to Show Low. She was involved with Reach For Recovery and was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, NEA and AEA. She achieved Teacher of the Year in Show Low. She taught elementary education for 25 years and worked with Century 21-Sunshine Realty. She is survived by her husband, Robert D. Fraley, children Cassandra Fraley of Tucson, Daniel Eugene Fraley of Show Low, Keith David Fraley of North Carolina and Deborah Fraley of Tucson and sisters Esther Snyder of Youngtown and Priscilla Morby of Sun City. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 10 great-granchildren. Memorial services will be held at the White Mountain United Methodist Church today at 10 am. The family would appreciate plants instead of flowers or donations may be made to the Fraley Family Trust. Arrangements are with Black's Mortuarty of Show Low.
