TOMPKINS, William (Bill)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ June 12, 2008 William "Bill" Tompkins died June 7, 2008, in Mesa. Bill was born in 1944 in Texas. He served his country 22 years as Army tank commander and 25 years as a steamfitter/welder. He retired and was a life member of the VFW, NRA, Second Amendment Foundation and a member of Show Low Elks No. 2090. Memorial services will be held at Show Low Elks No. 2090 Saturday, June 28, at 11 a.m. He is survived by his wife, Vicky, five children and 11 grandchildren. Arrangements were handled by the Show Low Elks No. 2090.
