Copper Basin News Hayden, Az. 25 Dec. 2010 Paul Vinsant, 83, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2010. He suffered a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was born on January 20, 1927, in Oklahoma to John R. and Artela A. Vinsant. His father was a brick manufacturer. His mother was a homemaker and nurse. Paul had children from two marriages, beginning with a marriage to Lucille Rathburn in Connecticut, followed by a marriage to Marian Ringquist in California. Although he lived in many states over the years, Paul spent many of his years in Dudleyville and Tucson. Paul Vinsant is survived by 11 children, John Vinsant, Francis Vinsant, Sara Allen, Peter Vinsant, Paul Liistro, Fonnie Hannah, Juanita Rice, Janine Hall and three not mentioned; and survived by seven grandchildren, Casey, Jacqueline, Joey, Joshua, Terry, Westley, Paul (Trey) and one expected great-granddaughter. Paul was dedicated to the Baptist church and was an ordained Baptist minister. He had the privilege of performing the marriage ceremony of his son, John. He served our country in the Navy and Army for 5 years. He was an electrician for over 30 years. His other interests included singing in the church choir, bowling and remodeling homes. A private memorial service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Hayden.
