STONE, Eldred Leroy

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona January 29, 1987, page 17 Eldred Leroy Stone, 49, formerly of Farmington, Mo. Died Jan. 19 at the Candlelight Care Center in Columbia, Mo. He was born June 16, 1937 in Grass Valley, Calif. He is survived by his parents Eldred C. and Clara B. Stone, of Wickenburg; one sister, Jane Stone, of Tucson; his wife, Alice Sue and daughter, Kelli Sue Stone, of Columbia, Mo. and one son, John Scott Stone, of Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. He served two years in the National Guard and 22 years in the United States Air Force before retiring. He was stationed in Korea and Vietnam while in the service. He was a member of the Farmington Elks Lodge and taught at Mineral Area College for four years after retiring from service. Burial was at Hillview Cemetery at Farmington, Mo. with full military honors from Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Cancer Research Center, Tucson.
