Beverly was a long-time resident of Lake Havasu City and a very active member of the community. She was also a local business owner and lived her life through her bars and restaurants. There has never been a person she has met that wasn’t instantly a friend for life. She was always concerned for others over herself and would make a party out of any event possible. She was truly an entertainer at heart. Beverly is survived by her sister, Lorraine Burgess; brothers, Floyd and Gene Songer; grandson, Rich Epps; granddaughter, Stephanie Engelhart; and great grandchildren, Richie Epps, Trevor Epps, and Lauren Hall as well as many loved nieces and nephews and countless friends. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Floyd and Edith Songer; brother, John Songer; daughter, Barbara Engelhart; grandson, Ron Hall; and husband, Clyde “Doc” Savage. A celebration of life, or “party” in her own words, will take place at 3 p.m. Jan. 29, 2011, at the Quality Inn Hotel. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Hospice of Havasu in Beverly’s name.
